Check me for Plagerism?

Hi,

Does this sound like anything written by some one else?
Not being a pianist - player, I don't want to spend days/weeks learing to play this
... i.e. if it is a melody from some other piece.

It's only about 10 seconds. Please let me know if you've heard it before.
Thanks,

I'm hearing a little Beatles "I Will" in towards then end, and maybe an unidentified 80's pop ballad at the beginning. I think it's unique enough to be called a original. Your really reach infringement when you use a complete four bar phase; I think you're mixing it up enough that you're safe. Sounds very sweet, should be a nice ballad.

    Thanks Ed,

Someone else mentioned "I Will" also.
This is just the basic idea and it will evolve so I think I'm safwe on the Beatles one.

Isn't it already a problem when you have to ask if it sounds like someone else's work?

Doesn't sound plarerized to me. It sounds pretty a bit like some other piece that I know, but it ended up being 2 or 3 pieces. I guess it sounds "standard" but still original.

    Hey there Peter,

Thanks. Yea....that's the impression I'm also getting after sitting with it for 24 hours.
The general color is very familiar.

How's that game mod music coming?
I finished HL 2 a bit ago and have wondered about the bugs. :-)

Did you ever see the HL-2 Demo Videos?
There's one VID there with a big BIG bug on a roof just standing in place, and moving around.
Pretty amazing. Nice sunlight reflections on a wet tile roof and a very large panorama on the city
and pinkish clouds in the sky.

I haven't seen the Demo videos. I suppose I should search them out.

Actually, I only recently got a computer capable of playing HL2.

I downloaded the demo and then I decided to buy it.

So sorry for the late reply, I've playing Half Life: Source.
