Chilled acoustic song - a change of pace for me :)

Hey,
Please check out my new song. It's a cover of a 'dance' song by David Guetta, called Titanium.

As I said in the title, it's a change of pace for me, chilled out and acoustic, oh, and all shot in slow motion! :D

I have acting and everything in this video. I hope you enjoy it. (If you have a youtube account it would help me if you added it to your favourites and clicked like&Subscribe)

Cheers guys!

Chris.

Im a suscriber chris so I seen this when you put it out first. As usual this is very good and a sure change from what you normally put out. Such a nice guitar sound, how?! That bongo bass really added to it when it was introduced.

Who doin the acting for you?

Cheers Cian. (It was just a bump really, thanks for subscribing aswell).

The guitar sound in this one is recorded with middle & sides positioned around the sound hole (ish). I also recorded one part open and one with a capo (picked part was capo 4 so that the picking worked harmonically in the key i used).

The acting was done by a couple of friends of mine. They're actually in a relationship which, I think, made the acting a bit more believable.

I prefer interacting on a forum rather than on youtube, it's much more personable.

Cheers for listening and commenting :)

It's a well done tune. I have to be honest and say I'm not so hip on the production, which to me is too much in the modern vein of no dynamics or depth or deviation from edited perfection. But of course a well performed song will likely survive too much production as much as too little. I think you have the talent, I'd just argue for being more human, which is what the music world needs these days, IMO.
