Chord symbols are not saved in staff view

When I save a midi file, the chord symbols were not saved. Is there something I did wrong there is nothing in the help file about it.

regards,
Green

MIDI will play a chord as written yet, it will not show what chord it is, that is from the way MIDI is designed. To see or print chords in sheet music you use something like the staff view.

Actually, regarding your thread title . . . I think Chord Symbols are only saved in Sonar Staff View, exporting to a midi file will only have the midi data. The Chord Symbols, Lyrics, Pedal Events etc . . . are only a feature of Sonar's Staff View . . . are you trying to put the midi file into some other software ?
