Ah yes, I forgot he was in Lord of the Rings Jan.

Possibly one of his more famous roles over here was portraying Count Dracula in a series of films...

It's kind of creepy  that he seemed kind of old back in those 50's movies and is still going strong. Maybe he IS Dracula

    Hi,

Here's a small list of the stuff of his I liked a lot.

Dracula Has Risen From the Grave (1968) The Oblong Box (1969) The Magic Christian (1969) The Three Musketeers (1973) The Four Musketeers (1974) The Man With the Golden Gun (1974) To The Devil a Daughter (1976) 1941 (1979) The Lord of the Rings (2001,2002,2003)

I have always felt that the stuff that he shared with Peter Cushing in both the Frankenstein and Dracula series were all really good, well done period pieces by the one and only ... Hammer Studios!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

Great in The Devil Rides Out (aka The Devil's Bride) and The Wicker Man too.
