When you can play like that, I can excuse a lot of things. Your guitar was the lead vocalist on this tune, and it's brilliant. Damn, I have half a mind to take up smoking again.

Hey Pete! Man what a classic killer Blues tone on that guitar! I love it. I like the rhythm section as well... cool organ part. Don't ya hate not knowing a vocalist? I gots the same exact situation... so we make do, huh? So..don't be bashful- turn that vocal up a tad... I felt it was buried behind the band a bit. A friend of mine wrote a country tune called "Whiskey and Cigarettes"... with the same "moral of the story"... LOL Thanks for posting.

LYN Glad you like, hey please don't take up the evil weed again, I could not live with that on my conscience. Odd55 'No Butts'....Ho Ho. Nice one. Hi tbosco Glad you like the sound of the guitar, so do I. It's the free version of Amplitube 3. First time that I've used it and love it. Always used Line 6 Podfarm before. I'm won over, have just paid to upgrade. Will now be my go to for guitar. I did turn the vocals up a bit which was why I turned them down again. cclarry, Glad you liked it, thanks for taking the time to say so.

How do you get the spaces in a posts? I post a reply and the text runs into one long line. (look at my reply above this one). I space it out as I want it, hit return for a new line and it looks fine in the 'Message' box, but when I hit 'Post Message' my post re-aranges itself into one long line. I've tried editing it several times and the same thing keeps happening. Yes I'm not that good at this sort of thing.

Dont sell your voice short. It has a quality. Do you listen to any ACDC with Bon Scot. Vocals are odd especially with the blues cause you have to come right out and say what the heart of the matter is. My guess is when you have the time, your on that guitar. Not practicing your vocal scales. the voice doesn't bother me and I like the guitar work. I am new here I am on overload listening to all the stuff

Hey, Peter, Excellent job on this great sounding vintage blues song! I really love the gritty guitar tone, great playing and tasty solos, and that organ is truly the icing on the cake. Top notch songwriting and performances, and the mix sounds like the perfect fusion of traditional blues and modern production. Very nice work, thanks for sharing! Bob

Pete, Nice job on this tune. Killer guitar for sure! Keep up the vocal work, I have been told that getting over the sound of your own voice is a big part of the battle. So let it rip and you'll probably be happier with them as time goes by.

Great blues. Well played and mixed, etc. etc. Nice separation of instruments. Maybe a hair of distortion on the organ, but that is probably just me. The voice, for this song, could use a good dose of whiskey and cigs to roughen it up, but that is long term proposition ;-) Esp. at the beginnng the vox level could come up a dB or two. Love the extra reverb on the guitar right at the end. @
