"Citizen of the Cosmos" - with some Factory Yoyo Love!!!
Few weeks back I posted my "Citizen of the Cosmos" song, the electro pop track with a psychadelic feel and an infectious chorus. Met with a relatively good response, however one main crit was it lacked the punch and fullness that this type of track needs to have. After giving James a hand on his "Aphasia" anthem, he kindly offered to mix and master this for me and without question made it twice the song. You said it was twice the song? I remember when you posted this the 1st time, and this is not twice the song, it is in fact exactly the same length? It does sound a lot better though :-) This thing is puncher than Mohammad Alli at the end of his career!

Wow, some difference. I don't think I caught the original, but after listening to both, there is a cosmos worth of difference. Another excellent piece of production by James.
Interesting tune, Cian. I'm not sure I 'got it' lyrically, but a strong track and vocal made it a good listen for me anyway.

philz, thank you sir. its a vague enough topic but basically, it tells of the single energy we are all made of, the cosmic energy, keep still and its there, no thoughts (monster) and I basically just merged it with the idea of playing a computer game...........enough of that.......dont wanna bore people round here, theyll think ive lost it!

Now this one has a cool sound to it , nice song . Everything sounded great but if it was me I might bring up your vocals alittle more , maybe it was my ears but for some reason I had trouble making out the lyrics in your song .
Could be my ears , I just finished moving and lost alot of sleep during the move , four hrs of sleep every night for four straight nights plus the wear and tear on my body so being as tired as I was or feel now it could be my ears .
Anyway I like your song . Radio

Not only does he have flawless mixing skills, he has such a way with words too! Thanks Jim. Thank you timidi, paulo, scottytunes, ohgrant, wookie, and algeria for your comments. radio, the vocal verses took a lot out of me cos they are right at the breaking point of my vocal range and I actually found it hard to spit the lyrics out on this one! always a pleasure to hear either of your work, and double the goodness this time. i'm glad you managed to persuade James to remix this, Cian, it is now perfect. so retro yet so damn catchy. the extra verb really takes the edge off the fuzz lead guitar, which was my main crit last time, and it fits so much better now. the repeated harmonic is genius, as are the vocal treatments. this is radio-ready and my song of the week on here, withhout a shadow (unless i hear something else later on!)

Thanks mgh, really happy someone else got a good kick out of it like I have, its that genre which I think doesn't fit the tastebuds of too many people round here,they like it for what it is, but not ENJOY it.Welcome to the cosmos baby.....
