Click MIDI clip to open un-docked PRV?

I could have sworn that before the last update, whenever I clicked on a MIDI clip to open its piano roll view it opened in an undocked already-sized un-docked window.  Now it always opened docked and I always have to undock it.  Maybe there was an option somewhere that stopped that automatic docking (which I hate)?  If so, I can't now find it, and I can't find anything in the Help file either.
Any ideas how can change this please?

how hard is it to undock?
Grab that tab that says PRV and drag it to where ever youd like.
    Another monitor.
i believe you can save it in a templete so when you undock it in screen sets its always the same size(is that why its a pain for you?
if thats the case then i understand.
i just find dragging the tab to a new monitor takes .5 seconds.

    good luck man   :)

    Sure.
Just trying to confirm whether some behaviour, which suited me, had changed or whether it was me that'd forgotten how to do what I used to do.
