Click/Pop Just When I Hit Play

Hello Everyone,
 
No matter what kind of track (softsynth, audio, etc..) every time I hit the PLAY button, I get a crack/pop just as I hit it.  Kind of annoying.   Any advice out there?

    I think you can adjust your playback buffers to eliminate this.  Try increasing them (but sometimes decreasing them works, too.)
