Clicking doesn't always click a desired track lane
I am having a fit in X1, still trying to adapt, where I have multiple lanes in a track. The mute tool and the erase tool do not always select the intended clip when the mouse button is clicked.
I am mainly comping 25 lanes for the best take. I have to switch between the erase tool and the mute tool, which is adding a bit more effort to my workflow, to get good clips muted and not so good ones deleted.
The erase tool seems to have crosshairs that do not actually designate where the mouse is pointing even though the cursor is in the general vicinity of where it should be.
1. Edit a track with 25 lanes
2. Split the takes into 3 pieces about 6-8 measures long
3. During playback, select the mute tool and mute/unmute clips - This seems to work for the most part with a double click instead of what it used to have with a single click
4. PF10 to switch to the erase tool.
5 try to click erase any of the lanes
At this point, I have to double click, single click, right click in no order to even get the clips to highlight. Need to bring back the granularity with SINGLE-(left)Click.
