Clip Nudge feature is moody....

Hi, I often use the Nudge feature (i.e. select a clip, and nudge it by a preset time interval to the left by pressing num pad 1, and to the right with num pad 3. Super-handy  for making quick, fine timing adjustments. I started using it in Platinum Hopkinton. Generally it's fine, tough occasionally it will stop working for me suddenly in the middle of a session; the entered numbers stop having any effect. I'm using it on comp clips. Only workaround I've found is to exit Sonar and restart. Has anyone else seen this? I'm on a W7 Pro 64 laptop, i7 2.7 ghz cpu with 16 gb RAM and a Focusrite Saffire 6 USB interface.

There might be a windows keyboard focus issue I don't know if Sonar has that handled there. I know back in like x1 you had to have focus to get preferences to pop up when you pressed P. Then they apparently worked around that if I'm not mistaken.

Doktor, the time is not right for me to change versions. Do you ask because you have seen this problem in pre-Ipswich 1.1, and now see that it doesn't occur in Ipswich 1.1? I assume so, as you're a such stickler for staying on-topic ;-)

Thanks bitman, but I don't think that's it in this case. It will work correctly, say, 35 times in a session and then just stop. Relaunching Sonar is the only workaround I've found. This doesn't bring my world to an end but does seem to be a bug. I'll report it to the bakers. Though still keen to know if anyone else has seen this.

Could anything be toggling your Num Lock on/off?

You could be hitting it inadvertently

I've checked that ... unfortunately num lock is not the culprit
