Clip Selecting

Hello,

I want to ask.. Is there a way to select  multiple parts of one clip? As in a word text you can select a word, hold down Ctrl and select another word.. Or as when selecting multiple files you select one, then hold down Ctrl and you can select another one.

So.. If I have a long clip and I want to select from 1 - 5 seconds and also from 15 - 20 seconds and have both parts selected at the same time? Is it possible and how?

Thanks

No, SONAR allows selection of only one contiguous time range defined by FROM and THRU values. You would have to split the clip to exclude intermediate sections.

EDIT: I should clarify, if you're talking about MIDI clips, you can hold Ctrl while clicking additional individual notes or lassoing (right-click and drag) a range of notes in the PRV to select non-contiguous sections. The highlight in the timeline will reflect the entire range, but only selected notes will be included in a cut/copy or other editing operation.
