Clip Slip Fade - Sometimes not working?

 Since upgrading to Sonar X2a (I have producer), I'm finding that the slip-fade for some clips doesn't work. The clip plays at full volume for it's entire duration, despite implementing a slip-fade envelope. Any ideas? bpoco
