Clip won't load at project start !!
Hi - I recently downloaded wav drum clips that include all pieces for multitrack drag and drop into a project. So when I try to drag and drop them in to the track, instead of loading at the start point, the open up way down the time line (this is on a new project so I have not made any setting for punch in or anything yet) - so I have to go over and get it and drag to the start. Even when I right click on the clip in the browser - a drop down choice will be "Insert at now time" and when I choose that (now time being at the beginning) - it still open up far down the time line ! any ideas?
Thanks
Charles

Uncheck "Always Import Broadcast Waves At Their Timestamp" in

Its a commmon scenerio for wave files to be Broadcast wave files. All that means is that that particular wave file has a time stamp encoded into it and that is where it will load. Its common to do this when you export your tracks to give to someone for mixing or for any other processing.

ok - live and learn. These were the "complete session" files from Loop Loft - of three songs of multitrack drums that span an entire song sequence.
Thanks !
