Clips Pane

Hi,

I just wanted to know what the point of those little dots that form in the clips pane were, are they used for something? I can tell that they are all on the half note of each measure, but what do they do, and I can I remove them?

I noticed that by applying "vertical bars" in the view properties for the clips pane that the grid was showing on top of the clips making the clips seem to be behind bars or something, does anyone use this?

Thanks
-Capo

The dots indicate that there's more recorded material in the track. I don't know of a way to turn of their display, but personally I like having them there so I don't delete what might otherwise look like an empty track.

I use the vertical bars occasionally to help align clips if there are lots of tracks.

In Options | Color they are called Clips Pane Ellipse -- if you set them to the same colour as Track View Clips Pane Background they will disappear.
