Clips are playing at the wrong time

Not sure what's happening but I'm working on a project where I want to have a synth run at the start and then I want the drums to kick in after a few measures and then play along with the synth. For some reason the drums are playing at the start despite my moving the drum sequence clip to where I want it to start. Anyone know what's happening here? It works fine on first open but the moment I lengthen the synth clip the drums start to play at the wrong time.

The drum VST is Session Drummer 3 and I put all of it's tracks into a track folder. Using: Sonar Professional

Thanks for any input!

Hi. Maybe try to press the stop button in SD3? If the play button is engaged, I believe that it will play from the start.
All the best.

Ah that was it - Thank you! I wrote my own pattern in the step sequencer but I see that it engages the play button on SD3 and leaves it on after the project finishes playing, so unless I go back in and manually hit the stop button the drums automatically start up on the second play but at least the first pass is good.
