I think you may have discovered a bug or an unintended behavior. There does not appear to be a way to unfreeze the cloned track because the freeze/unfreeze button does not recognize the track is frozen.

It could be the intended behavior. This allows the track to be cloned in either it's unfrozen state or as a new track from the frozen track except the clone is no longer frozen. If one wanted two frozen tracks, thaw, clone, refreeze.

If I insert dimension pro with an audio and midi track, then freeze and clone. The two new cloned tracks one audio and one midi are frozen but only the midi track's freeze button is showing a frozen state. The audio track's freeze button does not recognize the tracks are frozen so you can not unfreeze the clone. I may be doing something wrong.
