Coffee House Band Question.
Do you guys think you will ever do a live performance that your fans could come and see?
Also... what is the exact birth date of the Coffee House Band?
oh yeah and one more thing ........I have tight connections to Slash, James Taylor, and Rick Springfield, as my brother in law has built and designed guitars and pick ups for all three.
If I were to use my influences and get them to agree to produce a few songs with the Coffee House Band would this interest you? Why or why not?

Also... what is the exact birth date of the Coffee House Band? 1790? Actually the first SONG was released on June 12th, 2009. I believe it was ~6 weeks prior to that we started on the song, so May 1, 2009 is about the right time frame for the birth date of the band.

There's a Coffee House Band? Have they made any songs yet? You'd think they'd be shamelessly posting links to them if they did... Gosh, if I was them, I'd already have a decorative logo and some fake phony proposed album covers done.
I have heard they have a lot of fans though, mostly in the studio where it gets a bit toasty and, due to one member's vindaloo flatulence (however, all of that could be mere tabloid speculation).
Can you even imagine if one of them actually owned an Alembic too? That would be cool.

Hi,
With all the technology today, it could easily be done and folks play a virtual concert ... if the folks involved can and have the time to do so.
I have already suggested that they put the stuff together in one CD and begin selling it, rather than let it go to waste, except in the minds of 5 or 6 people that helped put it together. Not that a CD will validate things any more than many websites do these days, but there are way too many flybynight operations out there that do nice things and I would prefer that the CHB had a bigger and better show of exposure than just a bulletin board where the majority of the members in it, and its owners, do not give a sheepdip about the work their own members bo.
But it is their business and their desire, not mine that matters and I'm ok with that. But something tells me that these half geriatric wanna be great musicians just do not have the time and the effort to get it done today and take it somewhere else that would not help their family or personal life.
I can relate, and I'm just thankful that these folks are even here anyway ... though I have not learned a lot about music since I have been here, but Beagle and a couple of others have been too good all around, otherwise.
As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

Use Chroma-key to put all the CHB members on one virtual stage for a concert. One side benefit will be that you can threaten to paint one wall in the living room a hideous (for walls) green. Then at the last minute you suggest the bagdrop and they'll happily approve the expense. Simples.
