Coffee Poll
I drink(mostly) Foldgers 100% mountain grown. Some days I brew Community medium dark roast. What kind do you drink?

Walmart's Great Value brand (really - it actually replaced Folgers for me). 100% Colombian or 100% Arabica.

Mostly unleaded coffee. None of the big names have anything worth mentioning. In general, a lot of Herbal Teas, specially the "Stash" kind. I do miss their "Caravan" blend.

Oooh, Chickory. That's some potent stuff. Now I mostly stick with the house blends at Kroger. Medium roast, brewed a tad on the strong side. And no weenie decaf. I need a little octane to get my choke to open in the morning

Kenco Pure Arabica here, fresh ground for every cup, nice. The senior management does the odd herbal tea but it is only coffee for me.

I live in Seattle. We are required, by city ordinance, to be coffee snobs here. I've heard of people surreptitiously slipping Folger's into a Starbucks cup so as not to arouse susp icion. In recent years, though, it's become fashionable to to dismiss Starbucks as pedestrian (describe it as "burnt" if you want to sound knowledgeable).

Actually, I think their Bold French Roast has a burnt taste to it. Compared to Community Dark Roast whole bean, you can smell the difference.

Bitflipper, you forgot the part of the ordinance that requires us to have unusually long and detailed coffee orders. My ex used to order drinks that made people behjnd her groan. She even included the exact temperature.

There's a Starbucks on the way to the studio and I've become a regular. I always have a tall dark roast with cream. In fact, I don't even have to order anymore. When they see me pull up to the order board they just say "Hi" and "Come on around". When I do happen to order something different (rarely) it throws em for a loop. Sometimes I even get it for free. I should just make my coffee at home or at work but now I'm trapped like Norm on Cheers with a "sup, Dog" every workday morning.

Get teased from time to time for having had a grand total of one cup of coffee my entire life... don't like the stuff. Tea on the other hand... will drink quite often, liking several kinds. Also, OT but it does concern coffee, if ya likes ye olde "serious" music, give a listen to J.S. Bach's Coffee Cantata. It is about a nobleman's daughter who wants to marry her sweetheart, but mean ol' dad won't let her unless she agrees to give up drinking coffee. The whole piece is about how she gets the guy, and manages to keep drinking coffee (imagine arias with the subject of having to have one's cup of coffee). Had a chance to be in a production of it many, many years ago.
