Color Strips on Cakewalk

Hey, so I've seen the long awaited color strips for the Tungsten theme. This was something many users requested, so it's great that someone has done it - thank you.

Not to sound ungrateful, I had to turn it off as the yellow color is horrible...like a 'cacky green-yellow. Is there any way to adjust the color for yellow, like reduce the greenish hue in it?

Cheers

A balanced grey is made of equal amounts of Red Blue and Green (RGB), So the yellow reacts to the blue and green portions of the mix and becomes green. The only way I can think to avoid this is to change the track defaults to white using theme editor, which will give you a paste tracks when coloured tracks are chosen.

Color strips in custom themes??? Some how I missed that one. Thanks for the info.

Nicely done bakers - It's optional in Preferences->Colors (check the "Show strip colors" box)... AND comes with a Saturation slider. VERY cool!!!

To fix the yellow, or any other color not to your liking, click the "Other" button and adjust color to suit. The best I could do for yellow in default Tungsten theme was banana yellow with 100% saturation.

Thanks guys, I'll try the 'other' idea. I had selected the 'be informed immediately' re posts but I guess that's not working?

PS. Has a look for 'other' but couldn't see it in colors. Where is it? ta

Click on the track color picker and click the "Other" button to the right of the "Default" button.
