Color Themes Creation Question

Hey Folks,

It's probably been a bunch of times but, how can I edit the Mercury theme to have the same color scheme as Tungsten but keep the full custom track color using the Theme Editor?

Thanks in advance!

It cannot be done at this time. Full track strip colors are only supported when using Mercury.

    Indeed.

There was a flurry of commentary when Tungsten, and then the theme editor, first appeared, along with several suggestions for how it might be handled - fader caps, subtle borders around whole strips... but nothing ever happened and eventually I guess people pretty much just gave up.

I know I miss the individuated track colours - besides just looking good, I found them helpful in differentiating tracks quickly, organizing related tracks into colour groups, etc... but I like the darker overall theme a lot more so have ended up more or less sticking with Tungsten (actually, a variant theme with light-green highlights instead of orange). I'd love to have the option back, in case anyone's listening...
