Colors in Piano Roll View - NOTE Color

I don't see any way to change the display color for notes in the piano roll view.
I can change the colors for up to 8 continuous events, but alas, the NOTE color is unchangeable.
Is this some sort of oversight by the developers?
The display color for the notes would seem to be the 2nd most important color to control after the background color.
Any help will be appreciated.

    The note colors should be the same as the track color they came form.
