Come Together - The Booch Bouys featuring Jonbouy

For the benefit of those who do not frequent the Coffee House, Paul (Mooch4056) and I have quite the time down there ribbing each other to no end. It's all in good fun, BTW.

Needless to say, a while back Paul proclaimed our Bromance for each other (without my consent, no less).

After a while Paul sent me a cwp project and said "do whatever you want with it."

HERE is the result.

Much thanks to Jonbouy for his invaluable mixing and mastering skills (oh yeah, and his masterful drooooming of course).

One of my L&M favorites, and you guys did a good job with it.  Maybe I'd like to hear a little more of Jon, but, what heck, if he mixed it...

Just out of curiosity are you using a different Rhodes patch on the solo than on the outro?

@Mooch - As I recall you dressed me?
@Tap - Thanks. Maybe next we'll do "Dude Looks Like a Lady"
@Wookiee - Thanks. I had trepidations about letting my voice be heard.

@Janet - I've said all I'm gonna say about what happens in The CH. But I do have the photos on file.

@Phil - Thanks brother. Yeah same patch. I'm not sure what the raw tracks was (Paul did it) but I ran it thru the IK JimiHendrix Plug (Live JTM Setup). Pretty gnarly eh?

Hey!  This is Great, boys!  The production is fab... and once again, Mr. Bouy, you are SOME drummer.  Not that Ed is a sl;ouch on that Bass or anything.  Or that Paul missed a single note/nuance on his keys...  Nice job!  :)

    I love this @*!% song.

Ahh, Ed gives me too much credit here.

All I did was glue my drum track to Ed's mix at the end and turned it all up a little. I did spend a wee while on the drums though so appreciate the good feedback for that so thank y'all.

Other than that I just bark at Ed a lot when he's mixing.  Not necessarily because I think anything is wrong it's just that I like to bark.

    @Tap - we're considering it.
@Strummy - is the tres mi amigos a hint that you want it redone in Espanol?

@Jules - Thanks for listening. I concur, that Bouy is something beyond definition. And yeah it is a great @*!% song.

@No How - Thanks. Sorry we forgot the subliminals, maybe next time.

You could do Aerosmiths version of come together.

Hey guys this is cool, has the right vibe also and the mix with the vocal panned gives it that 'authentic' touch.

Hey wait up!! The Booch boys?  I thought the Bootles did this song?

    (mostly written by John Lennon)

Anyway jokes aside, Kudos you guys involved in this great collaboration :)

Absoflippinlutely terrific ya'll.  Great performance by everyone and nice mix.  For a while I thought I was having an acid flashback to the '60's and I didn't even do that kind of stuff.  I know that I didn't do that stuff because I can remember the '60's.  By the way, is it true that Bapu can channel John and George?
