They've failed pretty badly with guitars in the past. I dunno how they will handle this. The new guitar to midi controller is pretty much a bust by all accounts. Kinda happy I put my foot down on buying more EW stuff. The only exception would be if they came out with Hollywood Choirs.

It's for the Fishman TriplePlay.......so, the expense begins there roooight? I need to jump to the jam... to the boogie woogie jam slam Bust the dialect, Origin is the jam in command Come flow with the sound of the mighty midi master Jamin' on the midi will bring other suckers to disaster

Ummm, why would I want to play guitar samples with my guitar?
I think it's a valid question. There are a few good reasons for it but I can't see buying a whole expansion pack for it. Works pretty good for a fast place holder, scratch track. I would like to have a good baritone guitar sound. A good nylon string sound is useful. My fav use is for acoustic guitar without having to mic it. It can be a place holder until later so it doesn't bog me down. If it sounds good enough or if it's back in the mix I may not need to redo anything. Its also very handy for layering on different guitars. And you can do a Kenny and Mangulate them pretty fast and easy. Since you can record or play both regular guitar and the midi, they will be exactly the same. You can try some different things with the midi and pull up that track enough to get the effect you want. Kinda parallel processing type deal. Things like Chromophone and AAS String Studio are great for that.

Still no word on this yet. I put some money away for some of this so I would like to see what we have here. I would think it will be repurposed presets from there variou packages with some consideration for articulation switching. Kind of guitar centered Goliath like things. You can cycle through presets from your guiyar with TriplePlay so that might be used for articulation switching.
