Command Center?

What is it supposed to do? All it is is a white screen. How is it you guys have the new Sonar?

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

When you buy the new SONAR, the screen gets populated. Here is the doc on the tool http://www.cakewalk.com/D...uction.28.html#1435096

About 1:30 into this video shows it in use http://youtu.be/oG62qz0_q88

How is one supposed to buy Sonar? There is no "buy now" link that takes me to the sales desk.

At the moment I think it is limited to "presales" only to some people. Not sure why.

yeah, it's kind of a tease but Cakewalk have made a lot of changes to things which have been fairly static for a long time like the new installer front end and a whole new store. I am guessing they want to see how this stuff works in the wild with a limited roll out before the general opening.

I feel slapped in the face. There are some here who are new using the new version?

Don't feel slapped in the face.

I think it's kinda cool for a number of reasons.

First, it could be a slow roll out to reduce the bandwidth pull.
In the past some users have complained about slow downloads. By rolling out in small groups, the load is distributed.

Second, a lot of the regulars are having to wait. This means that a different group of people are the first ones commenting on the products. In the past, it tends to be everyone at once giving their thoughts.

Third, because of the lower number of new users, bugs are discovered a little slower giving the Bakers time to respond to issues better.

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

You mean the CW team came to your house and slapped you because you didn't read the page you got to when you pressed "Buy Now" link?

One way to look at it is: their money is spent, their year is already ticking off, and they get to find all the bleeding edge oopsies. So in a week or so when it's officially released it will be, dare I say it, "a piece of cake"!
