Yeah, I'd seen that on Tom's Hardware. But never clicked about using it for a DAW. But after checking your link, I see with those specs it's actually doable hey. Can't wait to see pics of someone using it with Sonar X1 in the future. A panup Commodore 64 theme(what do you say panup? hehe)......if only I had more cash right now lol.

I can just imagine the first complaint thread - "X1 won't run on my Commodre 64!"

a number of people on boards online for c64 all hate it.. (inc me) .. and the journo's who are writing about it are on the whole clueless of the real c64 people who did/do crazy things with it or decent games. it's a mini atx pc.. thats it (and a low spec one at that).. save your money and either get a real machine or http://www.viceteam.org/ emulator (that does all 8 bit CBM's) free or get a DTV joystick and mod it back to a c64 1 big problem is probably the sid chip if it's emulated , if it's not a real one it's not 100% accurate. it's not the "original" commodore either . Not sure about all of it, but I know Tulip (computer company) bought the rights to some of the commodore stuff back in the day.

Ah, that logo. :) Of course, it's nothing like it was in the day. But it cracks me up how purists would reject it when getting a real c-64 would be so much cheaper. Don't get me wrong, I loved my VIC-20... but please, it was pokey slow and my dog had more memory. Can you imagine this? OPEN 3,8,4,"0:SONARPROJECT,S,W"
