Comp or Limiting

Hi. In regards to acoustic guitar and bass,  are a lot of folks using a touch of analog limiting before the signal hits the audio interface? I use compression only when necessary but was curious about this.

I don't.  I use a touch of compression on vocals going in, but I typically do not on anything else.  I would consider doing it on bass but never acoustic, myself.
