Comping Tool Weirdness

I'm just getting into using the new comping tool.  It's taking a bit of getting used to but I do think it's going to work for me.

Last night I noticed a strange intermittent occurrence.  I have the Inspector collapsed and only the Track View on the screen.  I zoom in to adjust the clip ends and add fades using the Comp Tool and the Inspector just snaps open.  Am I hitting a wrong key or what?  Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks.

Paul

Never seen this. In all fairness, I usually keep the inspector open.

The shortcut to open or close it is "i".

Thanks.  I generally do as well but when I need more screen real estate I collapse it and the browser as well.  BTW, this happens while I'm using the mouse not the keyboard.
