Comping question and perhaps feature request

I am overall very happy with the new take lanes in X3, having never found them helpful in X2a.  However, there is one thing I want to do and can't figure out how.  With multi-miced takes (e.g., drums) I would like the option to be able to listen among the takes while the playback continues, but I can't figure out how to do this.  With a mono take, I can use the lane solo buttons.  If possible it would be great to be able to link solo buttons among take lanes of grouped clips so that if I solo "take 2" on one drum track it will solo "take 2" on all the others.  If this ability exists I can'f figure out how to do it.  Using the speed comping tools almost works as is will select all the correct takes at once, but will always rewind to the beginning of the clip.  The only workaround I found is to manually toggle mute on/off on each set of grouped clips by hitting the K key.  That works fine if you have only two takes, but gets cumbersome with three or more.

So, is there something I am missing, or is this a missing feature to be requested?

Thanks

If you use the up/down arrow keys, rather than the mouse, the now time should not jump to the beginning of the clip. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Control space is a playback hint to make the up and down arrows work properly.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

But if you have take split up already, you will loop on the sections. I think I see your problem. After splitting the takes into sections, what is the best way to listen to the takes through without looping on the sections. I don't know the answer to this short of duplicating the takes and removing the sections.

Thanks Bill, that is helpful.  It is still not ideal in that the initial playback when you hit shift+space will always jump to the beginning of a clip.  But knowing the arrows work as I need once in audition mode makes this a workable solution.
