Complete Dimension Pro Instrument Racks for Live 6

Thanks, Chad. Does your login indicate that you're a Cakewalk employee? This is definitely the response I was hoping for, versus "You are in violation of... blah blah blah."

As I said on the other forum, I think this could actually help Cakewalk, by making Dimension more desirable for certain users.

An unbiased mini-review; as the person above said, a no brainer for USD10 if you use Live and Dim Pro. I got my copy this weekend and it just works like a charm...
I have Reason, and scads of plug in synths and samplers, but I find myself going back to Dimension Pro more and more for both "real" instrument and great electronic sounds plugged in to Live 6...

This looks great....One question though, Will it work for the standard Dim. that came with my P5? I hope to update to Dim pro in the near future but for now it would be nice to use what I have in live. Also does it come with a complete blow by blow 'how to' idiots guide for newb's like me......Dimension + Live6 = Awsome.

I believe fragmentated is correct. If you're unable to run Dimension in Live now, my library won't change that (and if it did, I'd have a lawsuit on my hands). What my library does is put all of the presets immediately in the Live library menu (on the left side of the screen.) A simple idea, but a big help for a preset hunter.

Re: the "idiot's guide", it's extremely simple to install. You basically just unzip the file to wherever you'd prefer it - the "standard location" being in the Ableton Instrument Presets/ Instrument Racks folder - and I'm available by e-mail to walk you through any questions that arise. (This is a very small-volume operation, as in I've earned all of $45 minus PayPal fees thus far) so you can expect individualized service.

Dimension Pro in Live with this little enhancement definitely puts a lot of firepower in your hands. Especially once you become really familiar with the presets and/or begin re-organizing them per your own preferences.

I just want to reiterate in case you hadn't noticed, that this library requires Live version 6, since it makes use of the Instrument Racks feature.
