Concert Kazoos
I saw this on KVR - It was posted yesterday But it seems there is a genuine free Kontakt or Ableton instrument to be had, I am downloading as I type. I wont be able to test it until the end of the week, so if you want to know you will need to burn some bandwidth, Soniccouture has released Concert Kazoos for Kontakt. Concert Kazoos is a set of 25 rare tuned kazoos made by Suzuki, exhaustively sampled to 2-inch tape through a Neve console*. 5 Round-robin layers ensure absolute organic realism of sound and the most natural kazoo response imaginable. Soniccouture has designed the instrument to be both 'Epic' and 'Cinematic', while also being 'Emotional' for feature film soundtracks, and for EDM & Dubstep producers. Available now for free download from the Soniccouture website.

If you read some of the Kore packs anyone of them could be an April Fool. Still there's always someone who needs the sound of a Monkey wrench hitting a fridge in 200 exhaustively and beautifully recorded patches.

I think I've also got them all (except for this Kazoo) sometime back. Generally, Soniccouture's prices are a bit high and haven't bought anything from them.

Installed the Concert Kazoos.. It's actually kind of cool - for me it's almost a cross between accordian and harmonica.

So Glyn, you posted this a month ago and never followed up. Was it that bad? I'd just assumed at the time that it was an April Fools' joke. Now I'm curious to know what a "tuned" kazoo is. Something rare, I'm sure. Sadly, it requires Kontakt 5. I'm sure it's because it uses K5's advanced scripting capabilities.
All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

bit, I downloaded this. To me, it sounds somewhere between an accordian and a harmonica. There are no key switches. It is very simple, if you play it down below the natural range it makes a good tone. As a freebee, it was a nice give away.

It's not bad at all. Like wackey accordion. It's fun to play, but I don't know if I will ever use it in a track. Edit - Just stuck it through the LX122 Leslie simulator, as you do. Sounds pretty good actually.
