Concrete Limiter ?

I never had X1 as I waited and jumped from 8.5 to X2, I was told that X2 producer included all that was in X1 expanded. Was the concrete limiter part of that? (Should I have it at this point?) or is/was that an additional add-on?

Somebody in another thread said they were having trouble with the Concrete Limiter and couldn't use it in X2. Is this a problem for anyone else, or is it mostly working OK?

It was always an extra, but there was a $10 deal if you upgrade a while back.

It was worth it. Simple to use, good results.

It's a great plug! I prefer it to the "intelligent 2" mode inside Ozone 4 (it's more predictable), so it's become my goto bus limiter. But some say Ozone 5's new limiter is much better...

Hey Dave, I bought it and have only tried it once.  Set to -.01 it was still allowing overs which none of my other limiters did.  I will give it a shot on another project where I am not pushing so hard but I ended up pulling it out of the chain which sucks when you spend $80 bucks only to use something else you already had.

i believe so.... whatever the default is it where it is set to, I need to open the project to check but my other limiters did not behave that way allowing the overs.

I have not tried it yet, but apparently this one is pretty close to the waves L1 limiter - and it's FREE!!

Be interested to hear how it compares to concrete (which I don't have). Anyone care to test it out?

There initially were some problems with the Concrete Limiter and X2.  But, it appears that they were addressed in the quickfix (as a side effect of fixing something else).

John ... in post #83, djjhart says "I had a few crashes but , we figured it out , it was the concrete limiter , so I just don't use that". I wonder if it's the same thing Bill is refering to?
