Confidence recording

Sometimes, in a new MIDI project, confidence recording doesn't work until after I have recorded at least one clip.

Is this a bug that others have experienced or just a problem with my install?

Not really a big deal.

Confidence recording is where Sonar shows the data as its being recorded. Its been in Sonar for awhile now. It works for MIDI and audio data. When on it will draw the data as it is recorded.

Is there a way to turn it off or on? It's always done so for me. To the OP, are you saying that Sonar doesn't draw until you stop recording on the first track?

Yes there is a way to turn it off in preferences. ->Customization -> Display ----    and clear the Display Waveform Preview While Recording check box.

Here is a MIDI track being recorded with confidence recording and no issues with it being recorded.

Well, since I posted this, I have not been able to reproduce the problem . . . which is a good thing!
