Confirm my purchase of a UAD 2 (PCI-e) Quad Core as being a smart purchase

the title says it all.
I've seen a few recent threads regarding UAD cards and SONAR X2a and started to covet them. all of a sudden a new one turned up at a very good price.

Smart, if you can afford it. They could give the cards away and I still wouldn't be able to afford $600 tape sims, $350 reverbs and $300 compressors.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

I like mine, but as Bitflipper says, the plugins are expensive.  Best off watching and only buying plugins when they run a special.  Take your time and you can get a lot of them for half off or more if you shop with patience.  I have a rule; I don't enable the demos unless they are on a decent sale, because I end up buying most of the plugins I demo.

They call 'em fingers, but I've never seen 'em fing.

UAD plugs are awesome but as previously stated, be patient and allow them go on sale and make use of the coupons they send you. Otherwise, you WILL be kicking yourself later.
