Connecting 2 mice/keyboards

The title says it all.

Is is possible to connect 2 mice/keyboards to a pc?

I'm thinking ahead to where I might be building a separate ISO booth and would like to have full control of SONAR from within the booth.

You are better off with a wireless keyboard, comes with mouse. The module plugs to a USB. If you need more distance, even use a USB cable to stretch it.

But you'll need some mirrors or something to see the screen from the booth, or some remote camera, or something like that if the boot is opaque?

You can buy an adapter cable that has two PS2 receptacles on one end and a USB plug on the other end.  Just plug your PS2 keyboard and PS2 mouse into the adapter, then plug the adapter into a USB port on your computer.  I've been using this approach on my computer for a couple of years.

As NoKey mentioned, a wireless keyboard and mouse would work.  Be sure to buy the RF (radio frequency) variety instead of IR (infrared).  And read user reviews on Newegg for the wireless keyboard and mouse so you can find ones that have good range.  It's amazing how poor the range is on some of the stuff out there.

    Right - thanks lads.

Seems as though my plan might work then.

You can also use a KVM switcher that basically allows a set (Mouse and Keyboard and or Monitor) to connect to any computer you have on the network, but you can also use it to have 2 sets of controls to control 1 computer and you can select which set you want to use....

    Something like this:
