Connecting an external 19" Effects Unit to the VS-100

As there are no Effect-send jacks on the VS-100, how do you integrate external FX-Units into your Setup ?

Using the VS-100 as your end-unit, wouldn't you just run effects into the main input? I'm sorry, I don't understand the need for an FX send in an end recorder/interface.

Say you want to add an fx to something that had previously been recorded..

To the original poster... Can't you just plug it in the back of the vs-100 using 5/6 input/output pairs? Or the 3/4 pairs if you need 1/4 inch?

    hello all,
ensonic, i have been thinking about that too lately bcause i have never done it either and i have a couple of nice outboard processors that sound great and i'd like to use them sometime again with sonar. what i thought of is to assign the track that you want to process to an output of its own, say output 3. feed your processor w/ output 3 and then come out of the processor back to an input on the vstudio 100. then create a new track in sonar for the processed signal and when you've got the effect just as you want it, print the track. make sure the mix setting on your processor is set to full wet so the effect track is only effects. now you can blend it with the dry track as you mix-down.   i haven't tried it yet, but it seems to make sense and should work.

    @Mr. Fitz & M@B

    thanks,
that's how it would have connected it.
I was just asking because there's no such Scenario shown in the User Manual and I thought I maybe had overseen something.

    it's working now.
I connected the external Box to the Out 3&4 and In 1&2 and inside Sonar I'm using this Setup

this is similar to the Version that M@B wrote.

The changes are big, and most of them look like they are going to bring about good changes, that

will not only inspire new players to Buy Aion Gold, but may

entice old players to reactivate their subscriptions. There is however one thing that is coming with

the new expansion that makes me sigh in real life. Sure it doesn’t sound like such a terrible

thing, and some people even enjoy it, but I just can’t ever seem to

WOW Gold excited about it. Sure I enjoy seeing the new zones

and experiences the often times witty quest text that Blizzard lovingly puts into the

WOW Power Leveling, but at a certain point I just can

’t stand it anymore. Usually this happens right around the last level, or next to last level when

the grind seems to take forever, and I’m fairly sure that I will die of old age before I actually

reach power level up. And really what do I have to complain about Buy WOW

    Gold
, since Blizzard is only adding 5 levels instead of 10 this time.
