Console View - Can't Select Tracks

I can't select to view my tracks in the console. Doesn't matter if I detach and move to 2nd monitor (which is how I usually do) or if I leaving it in the multi-dock. I can see busses and mains. But when I click "strips" the track button does not have a check by it. If I click it - nothing happens. I'm probably missing something, but what???

I'm really diving into X1 for the first serious time today. So I'm finding a have lots of questions. Most I have been able to search for. Don't know what I'd do without this forum. Seriously.

Thanks!

Try grabbing the left hand edge of the console window with the mouse and seeing if you can drag it rightwards. I've had a couple of times when the console view loaded without the tracks visible, and both times the problem was that the divider between tracks and busses had somehow set itself to the far left edge of the window so there was no space allocated for the tracks, just busses and outputs.

Took me ages to work out what was going on the first time it happened...

You are my hero! I had tried to drag from the right edge of the busses. But I had not tried from the far left.

That did it. A big thank you, Sir!

Glad to be of help. The first time this happened to me it took me about an hour to realise what had happened :-(
What I haven't worked out yet is what triggers this behaviour- both times it happened to me it was when I switched from a console-less screenset to one with the console showing in multidock. It's happened once each in two different projects and doesn't reproduce itself even in the same project.
