Console view screen lags when scrolling horizontally?

Hey guys,

I noticed that after I passed around 22 tracks with 12 of them having 4-5 plugins each, Sonar seems to lag when I scroll around or move things. I tried firing up my other mixes with only 8 tracks on it and it seems like the issue is not there. I'm thinking of upgrading but what should I upgrade? Ram, CPU or SSD? or maybe there's something else I need to check?

Here's my specs:
Sonar Professional
CPU: AMD A8-6600k
Ram: Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 8gb CL9
Disk: 1TB Toshiba HDD
Graphics Card: Sapphire R9 380 2gb Nitro.

This system was initially built for gaming so there's that.

Thank you,

8gb more ram will help. Make sure you have the latest driver for your r9.

SONAR Platinum Lifetime 64-bit; Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 2nd Gen.; KRK Rokit 5; ASUS P9X79; INTEL I7-3820 3.6 GHZ;
850 WATT POWER SUPPLY; EVGA NVIDIA GTX560 TI 1GB;
Windows 10 Home 64-bit; 32GB RAM;
2 Internal SSD Drives, 3 External USB drives.

I also checked the performance monitor in Sonar(which I didn't know was there, lol,.) and it seems like I need an SSD first before more ram, my pc is not dropping below 75% all the time,.

If you are operating with only one HDD, then yes, it will run better with SSD, or better yet, add a second drive to your system.

Make sure your graphics card drivers are the latest.

SonarPlat/CWbBL, Win 10 Pro, i7 2600K, Asus P8Z68 Deluxe, 16GB DDR3, Radeon HD5450, TC Electronic Impact Twin, Kawai MP11 Piano, Event ALP Monitors, Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro, Too Many Plugins, My lucky hat.

Yeah, I  read somewhere that I should keep my OS and Sonar on an SSD and then have a separate drive where my projects are located.
