Contemporary Pop sounds in 8.5?

Hi all,
 
I've got to write & record some material that 'sounds like' contemporary pop for a library music company. Artists like Perry, Scherzinger,Kersha, Inna, Rihanna.
 
Have a problem, though. The synths in 8.5 don't seem to cut the mustard as far as this stuff is concerned.
Z3ta+ comes close sometimes, but like so many synths it has a minefield of large or un musical techno sounds to make you sound blind before hitting on someting that's close to usable.
Dimension Pro & Rapture (I only have LE) also have slim pickings - so many sounds being un-aggressive.
 
Sooo, my question is... is there anyone recording this kind of material &, if so, what synths are you using... oh, & would you mind letting me know?
 
Oh yeah, I saw this 'Digital Factory Volume 12: Ultra Modern Syntesizers' for Dimension Pro.
Promises from Cakewalk of 400 ultra modern synth sounds but, alas, no demo. Mmm, anyone tried this? Bit sceptical, especially without a demo - & who chooses what's 'ultra modern'?  
 
Ah, if only the keyboards where as easy as the drums. Stylus & BFD2, I love you.

    Omnisphere is a nice software synth.

    ASUS P8P67, i7-2600K, CORSAIR 16GB, HIS 5450, 3 Samsung SSD 850, Win7 64, RME AIO.

    One of the large library synths would probably be best, but the DimPro/Rapture combo covers a lot of ground.  Lots of techno but also pop sounds in Rapture, along w/ stuff at Patcharena.com.  Cake sometimes has nice specials on it.  Good clean, bright engine.

    Thanks gentlemen,

    Omnisphere certainly looks powerful on those youtube clips. 

    I have a Rapture (not LE) in X1, but X1 is in a box, on a shelf, gathering dust - didn't hit it off with X1 at all (I prefer Sonar). So is it possible to just load the Rapture from the X1 disc into my 8.5?

    Nadine,

    you should be able to load Rapture by itself by using the custom installation - just unclick everything but Rapture.  Or load the entire X1 and don't use it - SONAR XX will till be available.
