Control Changes

Please can someone help on this ;-)
I have written a song on a yamaha tyros 3 and recorded as 3 seperate midifiles as the styles are different in each part.
Whebn i start off playing the first midifile in sonar x1 its fine but I have pasted the second and third straight after (on the corresponding tracks). What i need to do is put the control changes in for the second and third so that it plays the correct voices(sys ex doesnt do it).
What control codes do I enter? I used to enter something like 32-0 then 0-0 and then if the song is number #000-115-001 or 008-032-001 use 32 000 or 008 etc am Idoing something wrong(first time ive tried it in sonar)!!

Many thanks

I don't know how to change control codes for instruments.
what you need to do is put each MIDI file on separate tracks so that you can change the CHANNEL, BANK and PATCH of each track to match the instrument you want to play for that section.
OR you can go into the EVENT list and add instrument/patch names in the event list at the correct time for the correct instrument.
