Control surface update 1.2

I may be a bit blind and didn't see anything on this.. I put the update in but I don't see any how to's  for the features mentioned...how to enable and disable fantom power from the control surface...now that I have that power ...how do I use it..LOL

    Hey I've seen it somewhere in a Cake post... possibly the one about the release of 1.2???

    Will have a hunt and try and find... one of the Cake folks said it was implemented and how....

    Hi stratrat1,

    The 1.2 update to the VS-700 Control Surface Plug-in is largely an update to control an OCTA-CAPTURE's Direct Mix and Mic Pres from the same control panel as the VS-700. Obviously this would only apply to users who have expanded their VS-700 systems with an OCTA-CAPTURE.

    Aside from that, the GUI for the VS-700 CSP was updated to provide better clarity for controlling the inputs on the Direct MIx section. If you're not immediately noticing the difference, I'm hoping that means we've done a good job and that things are labeled clearly. Basically the Direct Mix groupings are easier to distinguish and if you own two VS-700Rs or a VS-700 and an OCTA-CAPTURE it is easier to switch between the interfaces from the GUI itself.

    In regards to the updated feature that impact everyone (not just OCTA-CAPTURE owners), one of our Product Managers, Samara Krugman, touched on this briefly in another thread (I think this is what Mully is referring to). See http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2111475

    Aside from the post above, any changes/new features have been added to the VS-700 Control Surface help that can be brought up by pressing F1 on your keyboard when in the VS-700 Property Page.
