Controlling Master Volume for MIDI files?

Sorry if I missed this in the Sonar Platinum documentation or in this forum, but could not find an answer.
 
Is there a simpler way to adjust the overall volume of a MIDI file with many tracks, than to setup a control group and link all the tracks together?
 
Am hoping that there is some other option for overall volume control within Sonar that does not have to be setup as a control group for each MIDI file.
 
Using the external mixer for volume control of the MIDI file is not a useful option for several reasons.
 
Can someone please suggest how (or where to find the answer) to an easier MIDI overall volume control?

Sonar Platinum, Kontakt 5, Cantabile3, Sampletank3
+ A crapload of VST's acquired over time.

    Thedoccal... Yes the MIDI files are playing through an external Roland SD-50 using General MIDI.
     
    The same Roland SD-50 is also the sound generator for one of my keyboards which is used simultaneously with the MIDI playback.

    Then you have to use the main volume slider on the D50 as your volume control for the audio generated by that synth.  Or the D50 track or main slider on your mixer.  Sonar is not producing any audio, so there is no way for Sonar to do anything except play the midi files back to your synth.

    But changing the Volume parameter on a specific track (e.g. from 127 to 90) will decrease the playback volume for that track. So it's not that Sonar generates audio, but rather Sonar reduces the MIDI volume parameter value.
     
    I am seeking to change the MIDI volume parameter values for all 15 MIDI tracks at the same time through use of a volume slider control, like in the Track explorer panel.
     
    Sorry for the confusing way I stated the issue in the original question.

    Have you tried grouping the faders?  Then moving one will move all of them. 
     
    The midi "volume" faders are not really volume faders per se.  They also control expression.  So decreasing or increasing them can also change the sound.  Even if you managed to somehow set up an aux track whose single fader controlled 15 others, the sounds will be altered when you move it.  But maybe you know that already.
