Hi John, cool tune, the "ending" at 4:03 is a bit surprising.

    John,

Nice track.. very relaxing.     The ending threw me off a little bit too.    I think the silence between the parts (first ending and second ending) is just a little bit too long.   Good listen....

Pleasant enough tune for the late afternoon early evening, ending slightly weird.

Very nice John. Easy listening with some nice changes.
Sorry to add my vote but not keen on the ending either.

Nice laid back tune, enjoyed the listen. Agree with the others that the ending is kinda strange, it's like a flashback to the 70's where each musician looked at the other to end the tune so they just fade out instead

Thanks all.  Not understanding what was so "weird" about the ending.  Waited for the last piano chord to dissipate before the short piano/pad fadeout.  Was the fadeout too fast?  Need more instruments other than just piano/pad?

Nice and relaxing tune. The chords took a surprising turn or two. Builds up well and the mix is great. Nicely done!

I think I figured out why you guys don't like the ending.  I listen mostly on headphones (Walkman) and if you're listening on speakers you probably don't hear all of the dissipation of the piano chord (1st ending) and I agree that that would sound a bit bizarre.  But that's how I wanted to end it which requires the piano to fade out naturally.  Any suggestions as to how to do this better?  Thanks.

That's a sweet tune John, very pleasant listen. That recurring (flute?) motif is nice, I was waiting for something to play a harmony to it though, instead of unison. Bass lines are nice, drums are good too.

I think the 'weird' thing with the ending is not so much the way it fades, it's that (to me, anyway) the last part after the silence at 4:07 sounds like it's from another tune.

Thanks.  Harmony on lead instrument between 1:53 & 2:17.  Doesn't it come through?

Very pleasant number indeed John.  I enjoyed listening.  I agree with the above comments about the ending but for me this is a minor crit.

Very smooth and fluid movement throughout. I liked the flute especially. I listened again with the speakers turned up and this time could hear the piano fade out. So I see what you're doing there now.

A very relaxing song - I liked the sound of the flute.  The piano sits well in the mix.  The mix overall sounds good to my ears.

    Hi John,

    Nice piece, for sure.

I am listening with my ear buds. I could hear the piano chord towards the end fading out fine and I think it works. At the end of the day, this is how you want your tune to finish. Only thing I would have done slightly differently would have been to use another natural fade with the closing section, rather than fading out, but, no, I still think what you have done is okay.

    cheers
