Copy & Paste in the PRV

In all previous versions, it was easy enough to select a range of Midi notes, copy, and paste them to wherever the Now time was situated

In X2, the paste always goes into the same measure, irrespective of where the Now time is.

Edit > Paste Special doesn't bring up a dialog box anymore, Edit > Copy doesn't include the options to select markers etc

Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere  or, dare I say it, bug?

Edit to add: Also, i can't seem to be able to split a Midi clip in Track view

I'm not able to reproduce the stuff you're reporting here.  Any additional info you can offer?

I must admit that I never do a copy and paste. I usually, in PRV, select the notes I want to copy and then hold down Ctrl while dragging. I think that was because I used to have problems in earlier versions (much earlier, probably CW) and I found the Ctlr and drag method a bit more predictable.

And I'm copying notes that are more than a measure away I will drag copy a section of a MIDI clip and tweak if necessary in PRV (if the notes are in a different location in the measure).

Not that I'm saying that you should do that Jonesey, it's just my way, so I would not experience the current problem that you are I'm afraid.
