Copy and Paste Tempo changes and Meter/Key to a new File?

Is there a way to Copy and Paste (or otherwise transfer) Tempo changes and Meter/Key changes to a new File? I've been able to Copy&Paste Tracks but am confused as to how to do this.

I am trying to move my current project to a different template.

Thanks for any and all info.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

Your best bet is to delete all data in the project and create a project template out that project.
There is no real way to transfer tempo/meter key changes to another project except what I outlined above.

I put in a request a while back to allow a tempo track (A midi track containing tempo data).
but haven't heard/seen anything about it.

Before posting I tested this just to be sure.

Open the source project and the target project side by side ("only one open project" setting should be unselected in preferences).

In the source project, select all (cntrl-a) then, copy special (cntrl-alt-c) check both tempo and meter/key and uncheck events.

Switch to the target project. Verify that the cursor is at the start and paste (cntrl-v).

Works here. Hope this helps.
