Corona

Hi Peeps
 
Seeing as my other "masterpieces" are dropping onto Page 2 I thought I'd better feed you with some more *yawn* stuffs
 
Corona is all guitar, bass guitar and effects. Plenty of reverb (Breverb 2) and delay (Timeless 2). And lots of Guitar Rig 5 too...
 
It's just eight minutes of me playing my PRS Studio over a drone, so if you fall asleep after two minutes, the rest of the tune sounds okay, I guess, and you won't have missed much haha!
 
It's not a single take, because I'm just not that great a player. I recorded one fourteen minute take, and then chopped out all the bum notes and what have you.

Very soothing.  There was a particularly nice guitar run at about 2:50.

Good stuff Andy and quite a treat on the headphones......I enjoyed this journey in a peaceful pace. Well done and no, didn't fall asleep. :) 

Good stuff Andy a true laid back ambient track really enjoyed that one. It has a feeling of Faber, which is a good thing.
There is a market for this type of meditative music, you should look into it.
 

It is so nice when one finds a sound the evolves that one can just noodle over, and this has some fun and nice noodleing.

High quality upper, mid, and bass drones? Check.
Delay noodling? check.
 
love it. That said, I'll buy you a beer if you change the drone chord to the 4, leave it there for a while, then bring it back to the one. Give it a little "amen" feel.
 
One time I drank a lot of Coronas, with lime, to ward off the scurvy. But I digress.

If the whole song occurs in E major, what about a few minutes in, change the drones and the guitar scale meandering up to A major. then later, back to E major, and yer done.
 
If "E" is the 1 on an 8 note scale, then the 4 is "A" . . . please excuse me for thinking of music as a number line but it helps my simple mind sometimes!
 
It's just an arrangement idea, feel free to totally not do that! Your piece has cool qualities as is. Keep up the good work . . .

Dude...  nice!   "Soothing" is an apt description.    But it's still interesting too, so I'm assuming you kept the right noodling parts.
