Loose, raw, unrefined and catchy. That drum track kills me. This is one wacky tune – there’s plenty humor in there, but it is clearly not a “novelty” song. Good lyrics, twangy vocal and a strong country vibe. The mix sounded a bit weird to me – echoy (spelling?), strange balance and a “from some other world” kind of sound (could just be my ancient ears)  – but once I locked into the tune, it felt just fine. I felt like I was listening to a good , bizarre live band somewhere off the beaten path (far off) – good stuff. Love the little chord variation on the last line. I’ve had several listens. It makes me want to have a beer. I think I will.

THe vocal is good with country flavor but the mix is too bright. Good job.

Is the guitar slightly out of tune?  If it is so, this is a great idea!  Not much of the low end in this mix.  Great singing and you sound really into it. 

Well, Rod never takes too long to tune his guitar so chances are it probably is a little out of tune. I wanted this song to sound like a throwback to the early studios, unrefined and relying  the singer, the enthusiasm and it's originality...in short we had a blast doing this and spent ALOT of time to get it to where it is focusing on what we had and not what we didn't.  Rod want's to use your comments on the posters for the 3 song CD we are going to sell for 5 bucks so ALL your comments are GREATLY appreciated! p.s. kk I'm in....this is a strange listen for me...cuz technically it needs loads of work....but somehow it works the strong parts carry the weak ones.......are all the tracks raw then you added efx? and how many tracks you work with?

I'd like to have the cwb in my hand to see what makes this lil oodity tick...if your ever looking for an alt mix let me know

Well, that seems to be fixed, I also used battery three but the track is frozen so you can use it...I'll put together the bundle and yes I would like you to play with it if you want...

OK, here is the bundle...It should work on any X1a machine...your going to find lots of  BOOST11, SONITUS DELAY and VX64 in there...HAVE FUN and GIVE FEEDBACK!

My mental image if the crash while playing it was a whip to accentuate parts of the vocals, I couldn't stop hitting it... :)

by the way, when you load the bundle it says alot of effects haven't loaded, those have all been disabled, I just didn't take the time to delete them.  This is an X1a 64bit excusive song, it should work perfectly for you.

Love the song. I'm a huge fan of 40's ~ 70's country. I turned my radio off in 1975.

The only thing that stands out to me is one of the guitars seems out of tune? Or it may be heavy chorusing? Reminds me of bees buzzing. Unfortunately I have perfect pitch and things like that really pop out at me.
