"Country Rock" - newer mix
Hi, I have recorded this music today. Kind of country, kind of rock. I don't have a title for it. I tried a little more of mixing, but I guess it is still not pro... Thanks for listening! https://soundcloud.com/user-621970950/countryrock

I really liked the way you play and the melodies were really good too. I listened the next song also and it really rocked too.

Hi kakku, Thanks for listening. As more mixing and maybe other additional parts get done I reupload the recording.

That sounds really good. You need to get lyrics and then have craig wells sing over it. :D

nice work begs for vocals, tho, or at least a lead guitar playing melody.

you are Serious Noize's rock'n'roll cousin and I claim my £10... but no it sounds not very country to me, more 80s rock, especially with the synths in the middle. it's an excellent backing track which a great vocal would make amazing. drums will obviously need work in the final version.

Hey man, I thought you were my friend? I asked you for advice because I thought you were a great guitarist FOR YOUR GENRE. Which is NOT what I play. I have done nothing but compliment you every time I have had ANYTHING to say about you and your music. And this is how you speak of me? As for the person posting this music, It's not anything I would ever do, although I don't think anyone should discourage them for what they are doing. and I for one don't like the comparison considering I have nothing posted here at the moment. I felt it was stereotyping me by saying something to the effect of "Oh this sounds like Serious Noize's music". Really insulting to the OP and me also MGH. So whatever Buddy........

Ok Bobby chill out. I thought it was really good as I said and compared it to you as it's a complete track with cool guitar with no vocals. Whereas you dissed the song. Ok we all have different opinions. Enjoy Reaper

Apologies Mark, I took it the wrong way perhaps? I don't like being singled out as someone who : "IS THE BAD INCOMPLETE ONE" ya know, you wouldn't either. It's all grapes and rotten cherries either way I guess. I liked what the OP has going on here.

Nice backing track, sounds tight and crisp. Synth is good, that takes it in an interesting direction. Will you add a lead instrument? A lead guitar joined at about 2mins but it disappeared again.

It does seem to have more an 80's-ish vibe vs. country rock, but for what it is it sounds pretty good here. There are a few around these parts I could picture singing over top of this...

I wouldn't call this country rock. It's more of a cross between that 80s stuff like Ah Ha and the softer hair band stuff. I think it's a great bit of tunage, it just needs some vox. Well done!!!

I was just going to say it could use the Ah Ha video that was famous back in the 80s!! This tune is ripe for maybe even female lead vox? It's catchy - Daren

Have to agree that neither version sounds like country rock to me, the second versions sounds better here. will keep the furry lugs out for the next iteration.
