Couple of Addictive drums questions.
Hi guys, I've been wondering if there is a disadvantage to to having a stereo channel for my room mics and overheads...
For example I insert AD as normal, all inputs mono, then on one Overhead track I change the input to Addictive drums Overhead stereo and delete the other mono overhead track, I then do the same for the room mics, So I'm left with mono channels for the other kit pieces but Now I have a single stereo track for overheads and a single stereo track for room. Does anyone else do this or would I be better to keep the mono tracks and route them to an overhead bus and a room bus for processing....
Secondly, I tried bouncing my addictive drums to tracks and it didn't work as when I'm happy with my drums I like to turn them to audio to save cpu power, I click on tracks in the track view and then clicked bounce to tracks, I selected my drum tracks and when the bounce finished when the new tracks were created there was no audio. Up until now, I have been exporting the tracks to a folder and then opening the folder and dragging and dropping the drum audio tracks back in... Am I doing something wrong...
Thanks guys,
Andrew
