Bravo!  I think you captured the spirit of the original.  John Fogerty would enjoy this, I think.  Your mix is just about right for this song, though I would like to hear the vocals louder to counter the acoustic guitar which is quite present.  The left channel is louder than the right, so why not double the acoustic and put it softly in the right channel?  This version sounds even better after the 2nd listen.  Welcome to the forum.

    All the best,
    Lynn

    Nice job.

Better than mine in the faithfulness of the cover.

I covered this last year...and at the same time someone else did too....

CCR is a classic band and this is one of their signature songs...

Nice punch in the mix..... the instruments sound good,,,, nice acoustic, nice vocals.

I think there's a bit to much punch actually perhaps from the kick being so present.  It gives the song a choppy feel as opposed to the smooth country rock feel CCR put on it.

I would also give a few db's to the vox.

aside from that,,,, good job. One of my fav songs by CCR

It really has the "live" band sound and therefore I don't have a problem with the vox as is. I can see (hear?) that it would be perhaps more contemporary with closer vox.
I like the thumping bass tho and that does seem more current practice.
