i like the synth/guitar part? that fills behind the 'got my mind' sections.....
i think it's a guitar part?
either way, it fills out in a nice modern way

Nice job! The bgv's are a real treat. The lead voc does the original justice!
 
That is, the cover of the original.  :)
 
The mix has a punch to it and comes across quite clearly.
 
The next question is, why this song? I would have loved to be in the chatroom when that was decided  :)

This gave me fuzzy warm  goose bumps while listening.  (27 times by the way)
